A typescript with the letter from Krzysztof Kieslowski to Mr. Stanislaw Goszczurny of the NZK Program Department, dated 15_12_1983, regarding the acceptance of comments on the script of the film “No End” (1984), which at the time still had the original title “Happy End”. The comments related specifically to: Darek’s strike motivation and the issue of Darek’s hunger strike (i.e. Dariusz Stach played by Artur Barcis), Darek’s conversation with Miecio (i.e. Mieczyslaw Labrador played by Aleksander Bardini), the character of the bearded Rumcajs (i.e. “Rumcajs” played by Adam Ferency). The letter also includes an explanation of the scene with the interrogation of the witness, a young policeman. According to the letter’s author’s declaration, all changes should be included in the film’s shooting script.
