Typescript with the theatrical adaptation of Tadeusz Różewicz’s text “The Card Index” for Krzysztof Kieślowski’s television production “The Card Index” (1979). The document takes the form of a film-television screenplay, containing a “list of characters” and numbered scenes with indications of place and time of action (orchard, operetta buffet, theatre corridors, the streets of Warsaw, the protagonist’s apartment). Dialogues and detailed stage directions are written out. The typescript is a working version of the shooting script, with visible corrections and technical abbreviations.
