Started working at BFI in 2001 to present. Previously Photo Archivist at Twentieth Century Fox Photo Archive in Los Angeles 2007-2008. Co-editor of 77 Posters/77 Plakatów with Ewa Reeves.  Academic study of British Films released in Poland 1946-1986 published by Twarda Sztuka Foundation and supported by BFI and PISF.

Human Touch

Polish Posters in the collection of British Film Institute/BFI/ National Archive

In the paper they will present the following:

The brief history of Polish Poster Collection within the Archive – context of  human exchange of ideas artefacts  on film;

What lies at the core of Polish Poster – human touch as Artists were translating the idea of film using analogue methods;

The third part is talking about preserving the collection in order to grow the interest in both Film and Art;

They shall be using iconographic materials from BFI national Archives  as well as Jerzy  and Alina Treutler Archive (AJAT).
