Description

A computer printout with the script, version 2, for Krzysztof Kieślowski’s film “The Double Life of Veronique” (1991) – the director’s first foreign film. At the time of work on the film, the title “A Chorus Girl” was used. The authors of the script are Krzysztof Piesiewicz and Krzysztof Kieślowski, who present a story about two identical women, a Polish and a French one (both roles played by Irène Jacob), who inexplicably feel each other’s presence. The script is written in French under the title “La Fille du Choeur”, or “The Chorus Girl”. The title page includes the name of the film’s producer, “Sideral Productions S.A”. and the name and surname of its founder, Leonardo de la Fuente, as well as the date the script was completed, 01.08.1990.
