Description
A manuscript and notes for Krzysztof Kieślowski’s film “The Double Life of Veronique” (1991) – the director’s first foreign film. At the time of work on the film, the title “A Chorus Girl” was used. The authors of the script are Krzysztof Piesiewicz and Krzysztof Kieślowski, who present a story about two identical women, a Polish and a French one (both roles played by Irène Jacob), who inexplicably feel each other’s presence. Pages 1 to 15 are supplements to the script pages. Pages 16 to 17 are titled “Corrections after the first reading of the first version of the script”. Pages 18 to 42 are supplements to individual scenes. Pages 43 to 44 are titled “Miscellaneous”. Page 45 is titled “On the voice, on singing”.
