Would you like to develop your interests and gain experience in the cultural sector? This summer, join the team of the Krzysztof Kieślowski Archive and take part in a two-week internship in Sokołowsko, working with unique materials related to the work of one of Europe’s most outstanding film directors.
What will your tasks include?
- Digitising the collections of the Krzysztof Kieślowski Archive in accordance with the standards of the General Directorate of State Archives.
- Preparing digital files for making the collections accessible.
- Quality control of scans and digital files.
- Completing basic catalogue information and metadata.
- Supporting the team in its day-to-day work related to the care of the Archive’s collections.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for people interested in film art or the history of cinema who would like to work with valuable archival materials such as screenplays, shooting scripts, manuscripts, notes and documentation related to Krzysztof Kieślowski’s work. We welcome creative and detail-oriented applicants who currently have student status.

The In Situ Contemporary Art Foundation supports a wide range of artistic and educational activities, creating space for exhibitions, concerts, workshops, artist residencies, social and ecological projects, as well as recurring events including the Konteksty Festival of Ephemeral Art, Hommage à Kieślowski and Sanatorium of Sound. In Situ is also working to restore the historic Dr Brehmer Sanatorium in Sokołowsko, which is being transformed into an International Laboratory of Culture and the future headquarters of the Foundation.
