The June issue of the Koleje Dolnośląskie Onboard Magazine features an article by Lech Moliński devoted to Sokołowsko – a place with a remarkable history that today remains an important point on the cultural map of Lower Silesia.
The article also presents Sokołowsko Laboratorium Kultury In Situ, which organises the Hommage à Kieślowski Film Festival and runs the Krzysztof Kieślowski Archive.
It is a story about a place and an archive that make it possible to rediscover Krzysztof Kieślowski’s work through screenplays, photographs, documents and other materials revealing the process behind the creation of his films. In this way, the Archive becomes not only a space of memory, but also a source of knowledge and inspiration for new generations of viewers, researchers and filmmakers.
